Jessica is currently working towards her master’s in Biomedical Engineering. She attended the University of North Texas to obtain a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, with minors in Materials Engineering and Mathematics. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a national honor society, and the Student Advising Committee in the biomedical engineering department. She is working to expand her knowledge of biomaterials and tissue engineering. In the lab, she is working to create drug delivery patches out of gelatin methacrylate.
Besides academic pursuits, she enjoys playing with her cat, reading a good book, doing yoga, or cooking new foods.
